NextPrinting is the digital printing division of Next, the productive part of the Bergamo-based ACM group. With them, we share our headquarters in Grumello del Monte and the same core principles: innovation, creativity, and Made in Italy sustainability. For more than 40 years, ACM has been operating in the fashion accessories sector, producing and marketing items for luxury brands. NextPrinting fits into the groove of a reality that for decades has been dialoguing and collaborating with style offices around the world.
A deep understanding of the industry and its production chains is the distinctive feature of NextPrinting, offering partners a service that is highly tailored to the stylistic needs and eco-responsible goals of the brands. Starting with the selection of certified low environmental impact yarns and weavings (GOTS, GRS, FSC), NextPrinting has developed a bespoke printing system that can reproduce extremely realistic and repeatable effects on garments drastically reducing the consumption of energy, water, and chemicals from the fabric’s creation to the final garment making..
NextPrinting’s goal is to lead its partners toward innovative and customized projects that, through digital pigment printing and transfer printing, can explore high-performance responsible fashion solutions. These are sustainable and cost-effective alternatives to traditional treatments and finishes that are highly impactful on the environment, producing a final trompe-l’œil effect on any fabric.

NextPrinting represents the culmination of an evolutionary path followed by a team of experts in textile finishing, specializing in the application of the latest printing technologies to meet fashion’s needs. Faithful reproduction, high performance, and exceptional graphic quality result from our careful study of materials, machinery, and printing methods, ensuring a final product visually indistinguishable from traditional garment processing. The printed surfaces retain the characteristics of the original fabrics and can undergo further finishing and custom processing to meet the brands’ vision and style.
Digital Pigment Printing
Digital pigment printing is a highly versatile and customizable low-impact process for transferring digital images with extreme precision onto a wide range of natural fabrics and blends. Complex and detailed graphics, developed through special software, are directly reproduced onto the fabric by an injection system that applies pigments uniformly through a high-precision print head. The fabric then undergoes a fixing process to ensure that the pigments integrate firmly with the fibers, securing the design’s durability and stability. The end result is a printed surface with vibrant, true-to-life, vivid colors that retains the original fabric’s natural softness and breathability, allowing for additional post-processing, such as washes, delavages, and garment over-dyeing.
Transfer Printing
Transfer printing is ideal for faithfully reproducing detailed and vivid graphics with high performance on technical and sports fabrics, particularly those made of recycled polyester, through a short production cycle that avoids the use of water. The design is printed on transfer paper and then applied to the fabric using a thermal press: heat and pressure activate the binding agents in the paper, transferring the colors to the fabric. Once the transfer process is complete, the transfer paper is removed, leaving the image fixed on the fabric with bright, detailed colors, without altering the material’s feel and breathability.
